I talked this issue with my colleague this morning. She says that the people do not want to spend more money for spare parts. And they can make this money to earn more money. If the spare past was broken, they will buy again. If the price was 10 dollars when they ordering the machine. But they did not spend 10 dollars to buy it. Then the 10 dollars becomes 20 dollars. Then they can buy spare part by 10 and have more 10 dollars now.
It is right way. Use the money to do some other important thing. Then can earn more money. Business with the challenge. They can win or lose.
But i have my idea. The price of the spare parts is not high. If i ordered the roll forming machine, i will think that whether i can find the spare parts in my city. If it was easy to find. I will not buy them. But if we could not buy the spare parts in your city, will you still not buy the spare parts of roll forming machines.
I just want to talk about the foreign clients. If your machine is broken, you must change the spare part. How will you do? You will contact the seller of the roll forming machine. And tell them that the spare part is broken. You ask them to send you a new one. It is no problem. But the manufacturer should confirm that whether you tell the truth. Even they send you the spare part. But you will stand the delivery cost. DHL is very very expensive. May be you can use the half of DHL. then you can buy a lot of spare part.
And what happening to you. Your machine must be stopped. If you got an urgent order from your client and signed the contract. You must supply the panels within days. Then what will you do. Must be very worried. The fast time of the delivery is about a week. You machine will stop a week. Then you will lose many orders.
I think it is real thing. The machine can not make money for you. It means you are losing money. And the clients will buy form your competitor. Then competitor is stronger.
Different people have different ideas.
