One story about material of rollers in roll forming machine field

Client is coming. Ask me to send him one price for his picture.
I do not think we can produce the channel when i receive his picture. But he said all of other manufacturers have sent him prices. Ok, i understand his meaning,
If i said that we need more details, he will think we are not professional. Then I asked from my engineer.

My engineer is so professional that he found that the height is 12mm, and then the small side must be smaller than 12mm. So it is very small channel. He sent me the quotation. Then i did not add any cost to send him. Then problem is coming.

We use 45# steel for rollers. He asked how about Cr12mov. It is also my mistake, i send him price of Cr12. It is enough for the machine.

Your price is higher for 45# steel. I just want to ask him that you think my price is higher, why not ask the better material for your machine?

I do not think it is right way to find the good manufacturer, we should respect each other.
