Cement material instead of ppgi ( steel coil) Do you trust that or is it business war for China?

Someone who works in JD steel, India. send me the above pictures. He told me that ppgi ordered from China. And the seller used the cement material instead of ppgi. We can see the cement in the pictures. But I can not confirm the pictures are real. Because i do not see the coil by myself. So I have no right to blame.

Business is hard for everyone. It is happy thing that if we can find a new client. We must treat them as the God.No one wants to cheat if he wants to do long time business. Reputation is important to sellers and buyers. 

Let us check the pictures. They are not clear. Maybe made by PS. Then problem is coming. Why did it. Most of peoples say that it is business war. Yes, I think so. If someone wanted to start the business war with China. I think it is not good for him and China. China is developing country, we produce the high quality goods with acceptable prices. 

If the pictures are real. It is terrible thing. The seller cheated his client. Some of people asked the price of steel coil. I think they are smart. They can find the reason directly. Yes, the prices must be very low. We are roll forming machine manufacturer. We are since 1996 with four branch factories. So we know roll forming machine very well. And we also know the price of steel is rising everyday. Our cost of roll forming machine is also rising. The roll forming machine is made by steel. So we are also worried about the price of steel.

That is the problem. I do not know why the seller did this. But we can understand that the seller met a big problem. The seller could not adopt this business. Also the seller made a big mistake. For example, they wrote wrong number of steel coils. And signed in contract. 

A lot of reasons, we do not know which one is right or wrong. 

I also saw the pictures in Bangladesh. He told that this thing happened in Bangladesh and my India friend sent me the pictures, he told me his company happened this thing.

So interesting now. Two countries happened this thing, cement material instead of ppgi. Maybe will be a lot of countries happened this thing. But can you PS some new pictures. Do not use the same picture.

Servo motor for the 800 glazed roll forming machine is arrived but reducer is still waiting

When i got the order of Indonesia 800 glazed roll forming machine, i did not know, the servo motor is difficult to buy. Our engineer told me that no goods in market. I asked why. They told me it is close to Spring festival. I can not understand that. It is 50 days to Spring festival.

I want to ship my roll forming machine before Spring festival. So when we are during the holiday, the machine is on the way to client. When we starting to work, we can help my client to run his business. But if i can not ship before spring festival, my client will wait for many days. So it is terrible.

Now the servo motor is arrived. But reducer is still waiting. We have finished the rollers and shafts installation work. So reducer of roll forming machine is important now. If arrived, we can connect the shaft by chain. Then we can adjust the machine and text the PLC system.

My client is busy with the floor deck roll forming machine now. So he does not ask the schedule of the 800 glazed roll forming machine. Client pay us the money to buy the roll forming machine. So they want to get the machine ASAP. We should understand them

What happening in China now. Why the price is crazy. I will show you one picture for the reason.

It is morning in our city, North of China. We do not how to translate in English. We call it by "Wu Mai". Maybe we can call it by "Haze". It is real thing in China now. When the winter is coming, the haze is also here. We can see nothing even the distance is so closed. The hospital is crowded, Most of people are  Acute respiratory disease.

School is out for holiday.

Factories are closed

We can not drive our cars out because of No limited. If you drove, we will  pay a fine to our government. 

I have one friend who ask me the price of steel coil. He said nothing to me, just show his parameter to me. I know his meaning. He just want to confirm whether the price is high. Yes, the price is high. Because most of the biggest steel factories are closed. So the price is higher and higher. Even you want to buy, you are scared the price. But when you decide to buy, no one will sell to you. Because even you pay more money. There is no goods for the market.

Our city is popular for casting. All of the casting factories are closed. So all of the workers can not work. Then no one will give them the salary. They can do nothing. They are worried for it. If no money, how to live. 

And what can we do for the bad weather. Just close and cars limited. People are sick and it is cold for us to go to offices. 

If we can not live in a good environment, death is close to us.

When my client tell me that he is free now and hope i can pick up them to our YUFA roll forming machine company for visiting. Then he sent me the address by wechat. But i found this address is so far from our city. But the client say they are in Botou city now. So i suggest them to send me the address of the catalog. Then my clients take the picture for me. But i found it is Shi jia zhuang city. Not botou city. It is about 250KM from Shi jia zhuang to Botou city. So i am confused. I have no idea. So i call them to tell me where are they now. The client arranged the Chinese people to tell me the location. Finally, this factory is closed to our factory. But the name is changed. Business is so interesting now. One company can have many names. We are Chinese and we can not know whether they are one company. How about the clients who come from other countries. Business is "Mission Impossible "

Why we sell few sets of slitter machine, because we do not cheat our clients.

We have many inquiries of the slitter machine. But we can not sell more sets to our clients. It is problem. We should find out the reason.

How many pieces of the steel sheet. It is easy thing, we just adjust the number of cutter. So it is not reason

The width of the machine, We can produce 1250 and 1500 mm width machine for steel coil, and normal width is 1250 mm, So it is not reason

The speed of the slitter roll forming machine. We can produce the normal speed by electric motor and produce high speed by hydraulic motor.So speed is not the reason.

And how about the thickness. Yes, it is a big problem. Our normal thickness is under 2 mm. Most of the slitter is under 1.2 mm. But all of the clients ask up to 3 or 5 mm. Then the price is higher than normal thickness. But they want to pay the price is cheaper than 1.2 mm. So client is not happy and we can not accept this price. Then we lose the orders.

Frankly speaking, most of clients think this thing in one same way. They think they are smart. They just use 0.6 mm but he bought the machine with 2 mm or 3 mm. They think the machine can be using in future when they have big thickness. It is wrong. Why not just buy what you need.

Also for c/z interchangeable purlin roll forming machine. They just form 2 mm and under 2 mm thickness panel. But they ask 3 mm. It is big difference between 2.5 mm and 3 mm. Price is very higher. Then they said your price is so high,. But why not tell me you just need 2 mm. My price is also cheap for 2 mm.

We do not want to cheat you, then we give price with 3 mm. And maybe others cheat you that they just give you price with 2 mm. Then price is cheap. Then you ordered the machine. But I wonder that is it wrong that we tell you the truth? And we should also cheat you then you will be happy. Will you like that way?

One story about material of rollers in roll forming machine field

Client is coming. Ask me to send him one price for his picture.
I do not think we can produce the channel when i receive his picture. But he said all of other manufacturers have sent him prices. Ok, i understand his meaning,
If i said that we need more details, he will think we are not professional. Then I asked from my engineer.

My engineer is so professional that he found that the height is 12mm, and then the small side must be smaller than 12mm. So it is very small channel. He sent me the quotation. Then i did not add any cost to send him. Then problem is coming.

We use 45# steel for rollers. He asked how about Cr12mov. It is also my mistake, i send him price of Cr12. It is enough for the machine.

Then everyone will know the followings

Your price is higher for 45# steel. I just want to ask him that you think my price is higher, why not ask the better material for your machine?

I do not think it is right way to find the good manufacturer, we should respect each other.

One little mistake can bring big problem during the roll forming machine business

I have one client who send us the different address with his Import address. Maybe, someone thinks that it is no problem. But finally, it is a big problem because of this one little mistake.

Our roll forming machine is in the port of his country. But the customs does not agree with the customs clearance documents. The address in (B/L, FORM-E,Invoice and Packing list) is different with the Import certificate. Change his Import certificate or change our documents. Then client choose our documents. He thinks it is easy. And now, is it really easy?

Something looks like really easy. Just change the address in B/L and other documents.

But B/L is made by ship company. If changed, send the original B/L back and then make a new one. The problem is the time. how long?

The form-e is also needing to send the original back, then make a new one,

Other documents are easy.

Price is changing everyday business is hard

I got an inquiry from my friend who ordered my machines. He wants to buy more machines now and more spare parts. Because he asked the same machines. So i gave him the same price of the machines. He agreed it and we talk about the FOB or CIF is good. His country needs SGS inspection. So we must arrange the SGS and container to our company in one same day. It is difficult.
The followings are the steps

1. I will ask the SGS when they can come to our factory, they will give me two dates

2. I get the date when the SGS come to our factory, then i will book the shipping space before this date and arrange the container truck on the date when is same with SGS.

The schedule is not easy

Bad news is that when i ask the price of the spare parts which i do not know from my boss. I knew that the price of material is rising a lot. We can not sell the machines with same price. I do not know how to explain it to my client now.

Terrible day. Steel price is rising everyday. Why people do not order when the price is low

If someone wanted to buy a roll forming machine. Why most of them do not order the spare parts. I do not know why

I talked this issue with my colleague this morning. She says that the people do not want to spend more money for spare parts. And they can make this money to earn more money. If the spare past was broken, they will buy again. If the price was 10 dollars when they ordering the machine. But they did not spend 10 dollars to buy it. Then the 10 dollars becomes 20 dollars. Then they can buy spare part by 10 and have more 10 dollars now.

It is right way. Use the money to do some other important thing. Then can earn more money. Business with the challenge. They can win or lose.

But i have my idea. The price of the spare parts is not high. If i ordered the roll forming machine, i will think that whether i can find the spare parts in my city. If it was easy to find. I will not buy them. But if we could not buy the spare parts in your city, will you still not buy the spare parts of roll forming machines.

I just want to talk about the foreign clients. If your machine is broken, you must change the spare part. How will you do? You will contact the seller of the roll forming machine. And tell them that the spare part is broken. You ask them to send you a new one. It is no problem. But the manufacturer should confirm that whether you tell the truth. Even they send you the spare part. But you will stand the delivery cost. DHL is very very expensive. May be you can use the half of DHL. then you can buy a lot of spare part.

And what happening to you. Your machine must be stopped. If you got an urgent order from your client and signed the contract. You must supply the panels within days. Then what will you do. Must be very worried. The fast time of the delivery is about a week. You machine will stop a week. Then you will lose many orders.

I think it is real thing. The machine can not make money for you. It means you are losing money. And the clients will buy form your competitor. Then competitor is stronger.

Your drawings can not be formed in one single layer roll forming machine if you did not change the rollers.

Thanks for my friend whose name is Prabesh. He shared his idea of roll forming machine with me. I learned a lot of quality problems in his market. This will be better in future. Recently, no one change the situation of this poor quality. Not about the material of roll forming machines. Not about the design of the roll forming machine drawings. The technical level is low. Supporting facilities are not perfect. He sent me two drawings. He told me that they can be formed in one machine. I mean single layer machine not the double layer machine. When i got the drawings, i found that they could not be formed in one roll forming machine if he did not change the rollers of his roll forming machine. Frankly speaking, even we are professional roll forming machine since 1996. Our workers also need a long time for changing the rollers for the machine. But it not mean the machine works very well. The machine should be adjusted again. It is not easy. Thinking is easy. You will find the truth when you do this work.

Check the drawings now. I find same parameter for you

Same: pitch is 250mm. No problem. So he thinks the two drawings can be formed in one set machine(single layer roll forming machine) Is he right?

Let's see the different parameters.

Height:

the height of first drawing is 35mm and second is 30mm. The rollers of roll forming machines are made by steel. The sizes of the rollers can not be changed by themselves. So it is one different parameter. The problem of the shape of the rollers.

Width:

first drawing: the width of up is 23mm and down width is 67mm. So you will say that there is tolerance in my drawing(He has his design of drawing). Yes, i saw your drawing. 

±1mm tolerance for 23mm. Then final width are 22 or 24mm.

±3mm tolerance for 67mm. Then final width are 64mm or 70mm. Remember these parameters.

Let's see the second drawing

±1 tolerance for 25mm. Then final width are 24 or 26mm

±3mm tolerance for 65mm. Then final width are 62mm or 68mm.

So the problems are coming: 

Let's compare the up width: 22\24mm and 24/26mm. There are (26-22)4mm tolerance. Whose rollers can have so big wrong size. I can not think that. 

Then compare the down width: 64/70mm and 62/68mm. There are (70-62)8mm tolerance.

Oh, my god. The god can not agree with the manufacturer if he can produce this machine for his client. 

At last, we see the ribs of the two drawings.

There are two ribs (1/2/3)in first drawing, The shape of the ribs is corrugated( like the sea water wave).

Now, we check the second. There are two ribs with semi-circle shape. The number of the ribs is different. The shape of the ribs are not same. 

So, friend. Do u understand now. If you change the rollers for the machine. It is no problem if you can do this work very well. But now, do you think the two drawings can form in one single layer roll forming machine with no changing rollers.

I have one client since Canton Fair. He is very good boss. He saw our Eur standard glazed roll forming machine and liked it very much. Then he sent me one new drawing of glazed roof tile to ask the price.

Most of the vessel are out of space now. Terrible for our factory

Today, I arrange our forwarder to book the ship. And it is difficult for us to book the ship. I do not know why all of the ships are out of space. 

We also can not book the ship for Egypt client. And our forwarder books 19th for us. But it is closed to the 21st of L/C date. 

My forwarder told me that it is very closed to 21st (L/C)date. And a lot of reasons can be delayed.

Recently, a lot of vessel are delayed. due to a lot of reasons. The weather is bad now.

Next monday, i will arrange the trailer to bring the machine to port, and we must clearance of goods before Thursday.

And maybe our custom will check our container. And maybe delayed of vessel. And because the bad weather will be delayed for ship. And if we find the vessel will be delayed. We have no time to do everything.And transhipment is not allowed for B/L. If discrepancy of L/C, we can not get the money.

So my forwarder suggest that  hope my client can  change the date of L/C for us. I know i am sorry for that. We are new for L/C. We just sell our L/C to Alibaba, but if discrepancy of the L/C, Alibaba will not buy our L/C. Then we have no experience for L/C, then we can not get the money from your back.

So we need client' help to change the date for L/C. and we will pay the cost. Hope my client can understand it.
